"We purchased a piece of property with the intentions of building a home.  The decision on a builder is a major decision.  Reputation, Quality, Character and Experience are some of the thoughts that should be considered. Dollars are important only to the extent that they fall within the competitive landscape. 

We began the search by reaching out to friends and business people…Chamber of Commerce, Realtors, Bankers, Fellow Rotarians and the like.  The one name that was consistent throughout was Wightman Custom Homes…David and Jamie Wightman.  We met with them and it was apparent from the outset that they were the ones we wanted to spend a fairly substantial amount of money with. We felt a trust and bond right off the bat. 

Building is inherent with pitfalls and changes. Key is understanding and adapting. They made it easy…even in stressful situations.
